Cost of Services
Persons requesting services through private insurance, managed care plans and employee assistance programs may be covered through their respective plans. We will need to obtain authorization from these companies for services requested. All other persons will be asked to provide evidence of income, insurance coverage, or Medicaid/Medicare to determine the cost, if any, for services. Costs are based on a sliding fee scale.
Sliding Fee Scale
BJC Behavioral Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare and a number of private insurances. Individuals having no or inadequate health insurance coverage may benefit from State funded assistance which often means these clients will owe nothing for services. When State funded assistance is not available, these individuals will be offered a sliding fee.

Financial Assistance
BJC wants to help patients who do not have health insurance or who need help paying their medical bills. As a nonprofit health care organization, BJC and our member hospitals and health service organizations care about the patients and communities we serve through better health and better health care.
