BJC Behavioral Health partners with community organizations and area property owners to provide a range of residential options to fit the needs of the individuals we serve.
Residential options for adults include:
Intensive Residential Treatment Sites (IRTS) -
IRTS provides intensive services in a group residential setting for adults with around-the-clock oversight. Site staff provide meals, medication administration and assistance with symptom and appointment management. Participants engage in living skills development and activities such as household chores, cooking classes and individual and group counseling with the goal of moving to a more independent setting.
Clustered Apartments
Clustered apartment sites provide intensive, daily support and treatment for adults with the goal of reaching complete independence. Participants receive services designed to assist them with working to improve independent living skills, manage behavioral health needs, maintain the living environment, improve social skills and work towards other identified treatment goals.
Independent Apartments – Evolutions
The Evolutions Housing Program is designed to provide housing-related monitoring and rental assistance for individuals receiving mental health services to support individuals with obtaining and maintaining independent housing.
Coordinated Entry
BJC BH partners with other local organizations to provide coordinated access to housing resources and supports for vulnerable individuals and families who are homeless with the goal of preventing and ending homelessness.
Crisis Stabilization Bed
BJC BH partners with community organizations in St. Louis and Farmington to provide an environment that is designed to assist individuals who may need short-term, intensive mental health treatment in a setting that is less restrictive than a hospital.
